Chalmers Durham

About Chalmers Durham

We would like to welcome you to Chalmers, a web-app created by Ample Labs and supported by 211 Ontario, United Way Durham Region, Community Development Council Durham, and the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund.

This web-app is an artificial intelligence-powered friendly chatbot named “Chalmers” that can be used on any desktop or mobile device. Chalmers connects vulnerable individuals to the resources they need such as free meals, shelters, and emergency services in real-time (and with the click of a button!).

Community Snapshot Video “We Are Here”

Community Development Council Durham wanted to show some of the amazing work being done by service agencies, partners and volunteers in our Region. We could not think of a better way to capture all that we do than through the spirit of dance!
