Election 2015

CDCD reached out to candidates from the major parties in each riding in Durham. We asked them all the same four questions, on topics we have identified as hot-button issues in Durham, and across Canada. Each candidate was contacted a minimum of twice. Scroll down and find out where your candidates stand!

The boundaries are shifting! Durham’s electoral ridings have changed since the last election. To find out which riding you belong to, and any other voter information, please visit the Elections Canada homepage.

We asked each candidate these four questions:

  1. How will your party ensure that Canadians and government have access to high quality data to support sound policy-making?
  2. How will your party’s economic platform benefit your riding and reduce the rate of suburban poverty?
  3. What will you do to improve seniors’ access to home and community health care?
  4. What will your party do to preserve Aboriginal languages, many of which are in danger of becoming extinct?

Take a look at what the candidates in your riding think!
