DESCRIPTION:We’re happy to share that CDCD Newcomer Youth Services is collaborating with a non-profit organization called “Project Purpose”\, Town of Whitby\, The Abilities Centre and the INKEY List with their program launch & soccer tournament. \nProject Purpose is led by Farkhunda Muhtaj who a professional footballer and a social activist. (https://www.farkhundamuhtaj.com/IG: @farkhundamuhtaj) The intention of the program is to build transferable life skills through sport and engage newcomer families in enhancing their physical\, emotional and overall wellness. \nThe Program launch is on Sunday\, June 23rd\, 2024\, with many opportunities for individuals and families to get involved!
